Overview
San Luis Potosí is one of just two states that does not explicitly criminalise perceived ‘exposure’ or transmission of diseases.
Nevertheless, in recent years there have been attempts to introduce provisions which criminalise perceived ‘exposure’ in a similar vein to other state laws, but lobbying against these proposals by civil society has resulted in their rejection.
