In Tyumen, an HIV-infected convict splashed his blood on FSIN employees
In Tyumen, a convict was sentenced who attempted to expose to HIV two prison officers. He received almost an extra year in prison plus to his previous punishment.
According to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, on January 19 a routine search was carried out at the Medical Correctional Facility № 19 FSIN. One of the convicts living with HIV interfered with the actions of correctional officers. “The prisoner was ordered to proceed to the duty for written explanation. Not wanting to obey the lawful demand, the convicted cut both of his hands with a razor blade and started spraying the infected blood at the officers standing next to him. The blood got on their skin of hands and the head, mucous coat of eyes and lips “, reported in the supervisory agency.
It is unclear whether the officers were infected or not: throughout a year they will be under the supervision of doctors, undergo inspection, test blood for HIV.
Under Part 1 of the Art. 122 of the Criminal Code (knowingly exposing another person at risk of HIV transmission), the court sentenced the man to 11 months 5 days of imprisonment in a penal colony.
The man was serving a sentence for the offense under Part. 3 of the Art. 30 and Part 2 of the Art. 161 (attempted robbery) and under Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm) and could have been released from prison on October 14 this year.

Как сообщили в прокуратуре региона, 19 января в лечебно-исправительном учреждении № 19 ФСИН проводили плановый обыск. Один из осужденных с ВИЧ-инфекцией стал мешать сотрудникам исправительного учреждения. «Заключенному было предложено проследовать в дежурную часть для отобрания объяснения. Не желая подчиняться законным требованиям, осужденный порезал себе лезвием от бритвенного станка обе своих руки и стал разбрызгивать зараженную кровь на двух стоявших рядом с ним сотрудников учреждения. Кровь попала на их кожу рук и головы, слизистые глаз и губ», — сообщили в надзорном ведомстве.
Пока неясно, заразились ли сотрудники: им в течение года предстоит находиться под наблюдением врачей, проходить обследования, сдавать кровь на ВИЧ.
По ч. 1 ст. 122 УК РФ (заведомое поставление другого лица в опасность заражения ВИЧ-инфекцией) суд приговорил мужчину к 11 месяцам 5 дням лишения свободы с отбыванием наказания в исправительной колонии строгого режима.
Мужчина отбывал наказание за совершение преступлений, предусмотренные ч. 3 ст. 30 п. «а, г» ч. 2 ст. 161 (покушение на грабеж) и ч.1 ст. 111 УК РФ (умышленное причинение тяжкого вреда здоровью) и должен был освободиться из мест лишения свободы 14 октября.
