A RESIDENT OF KUZBASS FACES A TERM FOR THE SPREAD OF HIV
A resident of Anzhero-Sudjensk transmitted HIV to a 27-year-old girl, whom he was dating for several months. After leaving the victim also learned that she was pregnant, and her ex was the father of the future child.
Consequently, the woman turned to the police, reported the State Ministry of Interior Affairs in the Kemerovo region. In course of the proceedings, the department staff found that the 26-year-old suspect was on the records in the health facility and had been warned about the criminal liability for HIV transmission.
The man was detained. Now against him there is criminal case under the article “transmission of HIV of another person by the person who knew that he had this disease.” He can face up to five years in prison.
Житель Анжеро-Судженска заразил ВИЧ-инфекцией 27-летнюю девушку, с которой встречался на протяжении нескольких месяцев. После расставания потерпевшая также узнала, что беременна от бывшего молодого человека.
В результате девушка обратилась в полицию, сообщили в ГУ МВД по Кемеровской области. При разбирательстве сотрудники ведомства выяснили, что 26-летний подозреваемый мужчина встал на учет в медицинском учреждении и был предупрежден об ответственности за распространение ВИЧ-инфекции.
Злоумышленника задержали. Сейчас в отношении него возбуждено уголовное дело по статье «Заражение другого лица ВИЧ-инфекцией лицом, знавшим о наличии у него этой болезни». Ему грозит до пяти лет лишения свободы.
