A resident of the Sverdlovsk region bit a policeman to infect him with HIV infection
In the Urals, a resident of the Sverdlovsk region is being convicted, who is accused of trying to infect a policeman with HIV infection.
According to the investigation, in February 2009, police officers at the Talitsa station in the Sverdlovsk region saw a sleeping citizen on the platform. When they began to check his documents, he attacked one of the policemen and bit his hand. At the same time, the attacker knew that he had a diagnosis of HIV infection. The bitten policeman was sent for outpatient treatment.
The HIV carrier was charged under articles 122 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (HIV infection) and 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a representative of the authorities). The criminal case was sent to the prosecutor for the confirmation of the indictment.

По данным следствия, в феврале 2009 года сотрудники транспортной милиции на станции Талица Свердловской области увидели на перроне спящего гражданина. Когда у него стали проверять документы, он набросился на одного из милиционеров и прокусил ему руку. При этом нападавший знал, что имеет диагноз ВИЧ-инфекция. Покусанный милиционер был отправлен на амбулаторное лечение.
Носителю ВИЧ-инфекции предъявили обвинение по статьям 122 УК РФ (заражение ВИЧ-инфекцией) и 318 УК РФ (применение насилия в отношении представителя власти). Уголовное дело направлено прокурору для утверждения обвинительного заключения.
