“He can be imprisoned for up to 5 years. Uva local 40-year-old resident infected a woman with HIV infection. For the committed offence the man faces up to 5 years of imprisonment. This is reported by the press service of the Uva district court.
During the investigation it was established that the accused in the period from June to September 2023 infected the victim. The man knew about his disease, but did not warn the woman about it.
For the committed action he was charged under part 2 of article 122 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Infection of another person with HIV infection by a person who knew he had the disease”).”

В ходе расследования установлено, что обвиняемый в период с июня по сентября 2023 года заразил потерпевшую. Мужчина знал о своём заболевании, но не предупредил об этом женщину.
За совершённое действие ему предъявлено обвинение по части 2 статьи 122 УК России («Заражение другого лица ВИЧ-инфекцией лицом, знавшим о наличии у него это болезни»).
