A taxi driver was convicted in Karaganda for intentionally infecting women with AIDS
Today the Kazybekbi District Court sentenced to four years probation a taxi driver who infected women with AIDS, the correspondent NUR.KZ referenced to the press service of the Kazybekbi District Court.
’40-year-old defendant was found guilty of deliberately infecting two or more persons with immunodeficiency virus,’ said coordinator for media relations Alia Zhosheva.
According to the press service of the court, the taxi driver assigned to compulsory treatment of alcohol addiction and HIV disease.
At liberty, he refused from the treatment, and repeatedly ignored calls of physicians of Health Department AIDS center in Karaganda region.
We recall you, that in Karaganda a man taxi driver was arrested who deliberately infected with HIV three women from Karaganda and Astana. The victims asked for help of the management of the AIDS Center, whose staff contacted him and offered to undergo a course of treatment and to register. However, the driver refused. Doctors reported him as a distributor of HIV infection to the police.
The man admitted in part his guilt, stating that warned women about the disease, but they did not want to use condoms. Victim ladies refute these arguments, saying that they would never go to take the risks.

«40-летний подсудимый признан виновным в умышленном заражении вирусом иммунодефицита двух и более лиц», – сообщила координатор по взаимодействию со СМИ Алия Жошева.
По данным пресс-службы суда, таксисту назначено принудительное лечение от алкогольной зависимости и от ВИЧ заболевания.
От лечения ранее, находясь на свободе, он отказывался. И неоднократно игнорировал вызовы врачей СПИД-центра управления здравоохранения Карагандинской области.
Напомним, в Караганде был задержан мужчина-таксист, который умышленно заразил трех женщин из Караганды и Астаны ВИЧ-инфекцией. Пострадавшие обратились за помощью в СПИД-центр управления здравоохранения, сотрудники которого связались с ним и предложили пройти курс терапии и встать на учет. Однако извозчик отказался. Медики сообщили о распространителе ВИЧ-инфекции в полицию.
Свою вину мужчина признал частично, заявив, что предупреждал женщин о болезни, но они сами не желали предохраняться. Потерпевшие дамы опровергают эти доводы, уверяя, что никогда не пошли бы на риск.
