Suspected HIV-positive sex offender on trial in Berlin
A man thought to be HIV-positive went to trial in Berlin on Tuesday accused of pimping and having unprotected sex with teenage boys.
The previously convicted sex offender has been charged with sexual abuse and human trafficking. The HIV-positive man allegedly had unprotected sex with three boys in his Kreuzberg apartment.
The 42-year-old defendant is also thought to have pimped a 16-year-old boy to several other men. The man supposedly collected one third of the €50-€150 fees for sex. The accused refused to enter a plea at the start of the trial.
