Australia: Western Australian police can now force people who spit at or bite cops to undergo HIV and hepatitis B/C testing to "ease concern"

People who spit at or bite Police officers face mandatory blood tests under new laws passed by Western Australia’s Parliament. The Mandatory Testing (Infectious Diseases) Bill 2014 will in effect reduce the stressful waiting time for blood test results from six months, to a few days.
