Kuzbassovets will be tried for threats to infect an HIV investigator
A resident of the Kemerovo city will come before the court for threats against the investigator. The accused threatened to infect the police officer with HIV using his syringe.
In 2013, a 29-year-old previously convicted resident of Kemerovo, being a suspect in a drug-related crime (sale of drugs), was hiding from the investigating authorities, reported the Investigation Committee in Kemerovo region. In March 2014, the police investigator accidentally encountered him in his apartment building while using drug use. On the proposal to go to the police department, the man refused. Grabbing a used syringe, he said that he had HIV and headed the syringe in the direction of the investigator, threatening to stab him. After that, the defendant fled in an unknown direction.
Few days later he was arrested. The criminal case with a confirmed indictment was forwarded to the court.

В 2013 году 29-летний ранее судимый кемеровчанин, проходя подозреваемым по уголовному делу о сбыте наркотиков, скрывался от органов следствия, сообщили в СУ СК по Кемеровской области. В марте 2014 года следователь полиции случайно застал его в подъезде собственного дома за употреблением наркотиков. На предложение пройти в отдел мужчина ответил отказом. Схватив только что использованный шприц, он заявил, что ВИЧ-инфицирован и направился в сторону следователя, угрожая уколоть его. После этого обвиняемый скрылся в неизвестном направлении.
Спустя несколько дней он был задержан. Уголовное дело с утвержденным обвинительным заключением направлено в суд.
