Wife pleads for compensation after hubby infects her with HIV

A woman of Lusaka has pleaded with the Chelston Local Court to order her husband to compensate her for allegedly infecting her with HIV and deserting the matrimonial home.
This is in a case in which Catherine Mwambazi, 38, an assistant librarian at Natural Resources Development College (NRDC) sued Duncan Mambwe, 46, a driver in the Ministry of Agriculture for divorce.
The two got married in 2004 and have no children
